The first step is to write an related article about your Product or Service that draws the reader in and gets them to click through to your website once they finish reading it to find out more about you and your Product or Service.

Now, your probably wondering why you have to write an article.

Well, it’s real simple actually because what do you get to put at the end of your article?

Your ‘Resource Box’ with your website information and most important of all… your URL pointing back to your website.

So when someone chooses to publish your article in their newsletter or on their website, blog or article directory, they MUST add your ‘Resource Box’ with your website information and URL.

I know some of you are saying… “I don’t know how to write an article” … well, your not alone.

Here are a few resources I’ve put together for you so you can get the basic idea of How-To structure your articles with ease or get someone else to write them for you.

The first is an article I wrote called… THE 7 Step Formula For Writing POWERFUL Articles In Less Than An Hour.

It will show you How-To structure your articles for easy writing. http://www.internetwondersezine.com/article_11.html

The second resource is Elance.com – http://www.elance.com – which is basically a place where you can go and submit a project by category and freelance writers, etc. will then bid on your project. You pick the winner and you set the budget.

This will get you started in the right direction.

Remember, your article is the Nuts and Bolts of this ‘Back Linking’ strategy, so make sure you put some effort into it to get it as much exposure as possible.

Step #2. Submit your article to Article Directories.

This is the next step and an important one at that because this is where your article or articles are going to get picked up by website owners and/or ezine publishers who are in constant need of fresh, quality information to feed their audiences hunger for information.

There are literally hundreds of Article Directories out there and thousands of ezine publishers looking for quality content on a daily basis. And if they choose your article for publication, they must include your ‘Resource Box’ with your websites information and URL.

It’s all about the numbers. The more Article Directories and websites you submit your articles to, the more potential Backlinks you’ll get to your website.

And since Article Directories have recently adopted RSS(Real Simple Syndication) technology into the mix your articles will even get More mileage without you lifting a finger, creating even more Backlinks to your website.

More on RSS in a minute.

Step #3. Create your own RSS Feed for your articles.

This last step is a very Powerful step as well.

What you need to do is set up your own RSS Feed for your articles.

Now, if you don’t know what RSS is here’s the basic definition…

RSS is by definition – an acronym for ‘Real Simple Syndication’ or ‘Rich Site Summary’, and the .XML extension is the format used for distributing your news headlines via the Web, which is known as ‘Syndication.

‘Syndication’ is where the TRUE power of RSS is unleashed, getting your message or information across the web in an INSTANT to websites, subscribers and/or readers who subscribed to your RSS Feed.

The easiest way for you to do this is to set up your own Blog either through…

Wordpress.org – http://www.wordpress.org

Or through…

Blogger.com – http://www.blogger.com

Wordpress is a little more advanced so I recommend if you don’t have alot of experience with Blogs or installing scripts that you go set up a Blogger blog which will only take you less than 5 minutes to do.

I’m just giving you some options, that’s all.

Once you’ve set up your Blog the only thing left for you to do is add you articles.

TIP: Make sure you hyperlink your URL and use Anchor Text with your most targeted keywords. By doing this the Search Engine spiders will rank your website higher under that keyword term you specify in your Anchor Text.

After you’ve added your articles all you have to do now is submit your new RSS Feed to RSS Directories and RSS Search Engines.

Here’s a few resources for you to get started with.

Ping-O-Matic – http://pingomatic.com

Website Traffic: Getting the Better Backlink

Everyone agrees that getting backlinks, or links from other people’s sites, is important to helping your website get good page rank and thus visitors. However, did you know that not all backlinks are created equal?

For example, a common way of getting backlinks is exchanging links with other people’s sites — that’s called “reciprocal linking.” However, a much more valuable link in the search engine’s eyes is a one-way link from someone else’s website to your own.

Furthermore, the best one-way backlinks are from sites that are about a topic that is the same or similar to yours. So, for example, if your site is about fishing, then getting a link from another site about fishing is the best type of link you can get. The search engines call this “relevance” and relevant backlinks are always better than links from websites that have nothing to do with the subject of your website.

One of the best ways to get one-way, relevant backlinks is by submitting your site to directories, which is usually a free service, but some directories do charge a nominal fee. You can find a plethora of directories by going to Google and typing “search engine friendly directories” in the search bar.

When you visit one of these directories, you will see that a directory is a categorized index of websites. You will see main categories, such as Arts & Entertainment, Business, Computers, etc. Under each main category, you will find subcategories.

To submit your website to a directory, go to that directory and click on “Add URL” or a similarly named link, and then add your website to the appropriate category and subcategory. For example, if you are submitting your fishing website, look for the “Recreation” category (or something similar) and then the subcategory “Fishing.”

You will need to enter your website URL, the title of your website, a short description, a list of keywords, and an email address. It’s best to provide an email address related to your website. So if your website domain is myfishingsite.com then you would want to use an email address like webmaster@myfishingsite.com.

If your submission is accepted by the directory, then a link to your website will be published on a page that is only about fishing, thereby giving you a great one-way and relevant backlink. As a side note, you do not have provide a reciprocal link, although most directories will offer that option …

Getting Backlinks Can Explode Your Home Business Website

For the purpose of this article, I am going to go over what backlinks are and why they are important. Additionally, I will share a few methods with you in order to get backlinks to your site.

A backlink, in actual fact, provides a path to your site. If you think of it this way, search engines provide links to your site which you can click on when viewing the search results, backlinks are the same, the only difference being that these links are pointing from another website.

So one may say, based on this, that the more backlinks you have the better. This would seem rational, however, this is not totally true. If links are coming back to your site from poor quality sites and sites that are specifically set up to point links to various other sites, then these links will not be as productive.

The reason for this, again, is pretty logical. First, we want links to our site so that people will visit it. If your links are posted on what are called link farms, then these are just artificial sites set up by webmasters and as a result, you will not get any real human traffic.

Second, search engines use algorithms to determine the relevance of any given site. As part of the algorithm, they measure how many links are pointing to your site. This is why, in the past, webmasters got together to create link farms so as to artificially increase the number of links to their site.

Search engines quickly figured this out and immediately started to discount these links. Additionally, as mentioned, if you have links pointing from another site to your site that does not relate to your content, then these links are not as powerful.

With that said, backlinks are very important if they are positioned in the right places. Your links do not have to be exactly relevant; for example, a site on garden tools could have a link pointing back to your site on lawn care.

The more backlinks you have the better, simply because it gives your site more opportunities to receive traffic. Additionally, search engines like backlinks and will deem your site as more of an authority.

So how do you go about getting these links? First, the search engines prefer what they term as natural linking. This implies that no one has negotiated to share links with one another. When natural linking occurs, people like the content on the site and link to it without being requested to do so.

However, the challenge is that people have to see your site first to say they like it and furthermore, this process would take a long time unless you had some luck with viral content.

So to get links to your site, you can post comments on blogs and on forums. You can write articles and have links pointing back through article directories. Additionally, you can add your site to web directories. If your site is new, you can do a press release.

Finally, when a link points back to your site, it has what is known as an “anchor text”. This is basically the click portion of the link. This is very important as the search engines read this text so as to understand what your site is about. So you need to do keyword research and use the keyword that you want your site to appear on the top of the search results for.

Getting More Traffic by Using Backlinks Software

Most people know that if your website is going to get traffic and be successful you need backlinks to your site.  Getting these links is not as easy as it sounds though – there are ways to succeed though with a little effort.

I often get asked if there is any backlinks software that people can use to promote their websites or blogs. Of course we all know well that any website that doesn’t get some inbound links is never going to be that popular with the search engines.

Now if you look around the internet there’s lots of automatic submission services or software available but inevitably all these do is submit your website to the thousands of free internet directories on the web.

The value of appearing in these sites is at the very best negligible, Google often states that the value of links from these sites is worthless simply because free directories don’t offer any value at all to the searcher.

I suspect if it wasn’t for the possibility that people would submit their competitors sites to these directories then many of the search engines would actually penalise websites to having links from these directories. The origin of the backlink is of utmost importance in boosting your website, you should only try and obtain backlinks from reputable sources.

There is of course a fundamental problem with getting backlinks for your website, ideally you would be best to obtain these links from important websites in your own particular area. However it’s fairly obvious that these are quite possibly your competitors and the webmasters are unlikely to give you a boost by linking to your site. The importance of getting one-way backlinks is well known to most webmasters and everyone wants them.

There are many other ways of getting links however and the ever adaptable SEO industry is always coming up with some new method.

Some methods of Gaining Backlinks to your site

Yahoo Directory - a link in Yahoos Directory will definitely give your website a huge boost. Unfortunately there is quite a high cost of $299 for a year but if you want ot invest in your website you should consider this. If your site is non commercial though then submit as it’s completely free!

Forum Posts- try and hang out in forums on your specific subject. Answer questions when they occur and try and be helpful, in your signature include a link back to your website

Blogs – There are blogs on just about any subject you can think of. Join in discussions with useful posts and where appropriate use a link back to your website to illustrate a point
An example of a great way to get a link is to sign on to something like Yahoo answers where you can attempt to answer peoples questions. Search for questions in your area and put a link in the resource box at the bottom to a page on your site that helps answer the question. It’s also a great way to get ideas for new pages as real people are asking these questions and looking for answers.

There is one more great way of obtaining good quality bookmarks to your blog or website and that is by harnessing the power of social bookmarking. There are hundreds of social bookmarking sites which can give you many quality backlinks to your website and boost your traffic. These sites are actually great for getting your new website pages indexed quickly as well as the search engines spider these sites many times a day.

Getting Backlinks for Beginner

A backlink is a link from another site to your web site.

For example, if you are a member of Coachville, and somebody is searching for a coach, so it is potential that this individual views your list in the Find a Coach? section and clicks a link to your web site.

This is a backlink from Coachville to your web site.

Many of the links that coaches have on their website are planned to take visitors from the coach’s website to another websites. These are usually located in a link section or a resources section. These are also named forward links or outbound links.

The important thing to note is that a backlinks get visitors to your site. One Time visitors come to your website, you can turn them into customers, product sales, newsletter readers, commissions and more.

Getting traffic to new web sites was always difficult thing to do. Waiting for website to be indexed and having high place on google and others “big” search engines takes months, but there are some things that help you with this.

Ways to make backlinks:

Press releases are very efficient for website publicity and also for making oodles of one-way links.
